Surface Modification of Nanocellulose to Blend with PLA

Several organic reactions have been carried out to surface modification of nanocellulose. The aim was to improve the compatibility with polylactic acid (PLA). Once mnodified, the methodology to prepare composites with PLA was optimized. Finally, the final products were characterized.
