The picture submitted by Elisabet Afonso to the I Scientific Photo Contest for Young Polymer Researchers (PHOTOPOL2019) has recieved the award in the Polymers and Composite Materials for Advanced Applications category. The photo entitled "Polymers that Hate Liquids: Superomniphobic Surfaces" shows a polymer surface on which dishwasher, olive oil, vinager, orange juice, and ketchup, present high contact angles and very low hysteresis, so the liquid droplets roll off the surface without wetting it.
