This work proposes as main objective the study of new hidrophobic and superslippery surfaces able to reduce the amount of impregnating liquid residues and of washong waters. A scalable method has been developed which allows the preparation and application on large surfaces of hydrophobic coatings with remarkable mechanical stability. A proof of concept has been done applying this superslippery coating on firemen safety suits studying the subsequent reduction of impregnating liquids and how these coatings help to reduce washing waters in cleaning protocols.
